Modern Montessori International (Hong Kong) Limited has found base at the Connaught Commercial Building located at 185 Wan Chai Road in Hong Kong.
A key economic player in Asia, the strategically located former British colony has been a thriving commercial and financial hub for decades. MMI HK will, no doubt, be a strategic international office for the MMI Group as part of the latter's Asia 21 expansion plan to extend its operations to the People's Republic of China.
Hong Kong's education system, which features a non-compulsory three-year kindergarten, is based upon that of the United Kingdom, and in particular, the system used in England.
At present, processes are underway for MMI HK to obtain accreditation from Hong Kong's Ministry of Education. Thereafter, in the next six to nine months, it will implement both teacher-training programs – namely Diploma in Montessori and Diploma in Early Childhood – for adults as well as enrichment services for children.
